London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) is a charity accredited by Imagine Canada, whose goal is to link community and health care experts together in pursuit of medical excellence at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC). Their Country Classic Auction is one of Southwestern Ontario’s largest fundraising events, supporting LHSC programs for over 30 years.

Challenge to Solve

1. Transitioning annual fundraising event from in-person to online delivery.
2. Creating an engaging online donor experience to maximize fundraising efforts through a variety of digital mediums from concept-to-execution.

Solution

1. Building Awareness

Create a 30-second social media commercial for LHSF’s marketing team to distribute across social platforms that included Facebook; Instagram; LinkedIn.

3. Dynamic Execution

To elevate the quality of the live-stream, we created a series of content pieces that included a series of animated introductions and in-stream lower thirds. We also developed pre-produced segments that were edited throughout the live-stream.

Result

  • Exceeded event fundraising goal for the FEMAP.
  • Raised over $250,000 with 115 Event Donors, 40+ Post-Event Donors.
  • 9,205 Page Unique Views, 87% LiveStream Viewership vs. 13% On-Demand.
  • GIANT video content yielded 40 % more user engagement.
